Latest Hand-Lettered JEK Custom Signs Tiki Sign Panel

This one I made using Nason automotive enamel as the background colour and One-Shot paint for the lettering and the tiki motif. The panel was one I've had for a while. I painted it with leftover paint I had in the gun from the El Burro Azul custom C70 bike project.  No sense in wasting paint when you can put it to good use.

Local Tim Horton's Car Night

This once little impromptu car night has grown in leaps and bounds.  I wonder how long it will be until it gets shut down... (Hopefully, it won't!)

Cesare Cecco Michaeli and the Moto Guzzi Cafe Sport V11 Racer

Over the weekend I met a fellow named Francesco, who is working with the local Guzzi dealership.  Being from Italy and being involved in the Guzzi scene over there, he knew racer Cesare Cecco Michaeli.  "Cecco" was quite successful in racing a V11 in Monza and I believe the big Ballabio-Resinelli Hillclimb Race.  These pictures are from www.motoguzzicomo.it

Moto Guzzi Ballabio and Breva

Took these during a ride in Washington State.  The Ballabio is a fun machine with touring potential.  Desmo Rob brought his Breva for the trip.

Father's Day British Car and Motorcycle Show, Victoria, BC

Our roving man in the field, Brother Tom, sent this report from the Father's Day show in Victoria.  He rode his BSA to the show and said the turn out was quite good.  Look for his A65 in one of the photos.  Its the one between the Dominator and the Gold Star.

Sign of the Month

I wish I took a picture of this sign of the month. I passed by it several times on my way to and from downtown Portland, Oregon.  It was a real piece of history.  Now its a mega-chain restaurant sign; gone is the duck and the Waddles lettering, and therefore, the charm and the history.  I got these photos from several web sources.

Nice bikes!

Happy Canada Day!

Yes, I'm one day late. I was away from the computer all day yesterday.  Better late than never. Happy Canada Day!
