April Sign of the Month- Iconic Downton Portland Sign (Portland Oregon Old town), Formerly The White Stag Sign

This the sign that welcomes visitors to the downtown portion of Portland.  My wife and I took some pictures of the sign, which was originally the White Stag Sports Wear Company's sign, but was changed several times until it now reads Portland Oregon Old Town.  You have to like a city that declares a sign an historical landmark.

See See Motor Coffee Co. Motorcycle Coffee Shop in Portland, Oregon

My wife and I just got back from a trip to Portland, Oregon.  It is a good city to visit, full of great instrument stores and record stores, and must-visit places like See See Motor Coffee Co. Great coffee and friendly staff, plus a variety of unique custom bikes on display.  They also stock a good selection of indie bike mags, and I picked up the latest Sideburn from them.  Plus they have the 21 Helmets display, featuring custom painted helmets.

This one I lettered and aged for a collector of pirate memorabilia.

Moto Guzzi V7's at the Vancouver Motorcycle Show

It was nice to see that Guzzi had a bigger display this year, with what seemed to be more bikes than before.

Vancouver Motorcycle Show 2014- Land Speed Triumph

This is Tom Mellor's record setting Triumph.  The bike is 1970's Triumph and it reached speeds over 200 mph at the Salt Flats.
