Neat bike; can't remember the model or year.

July Sign of the Month- Moto Guzzi Sign

This one I lettered for a buddy's birthday some time ago.  He's a fellow Guzzi enthusiast.

Happy Canada Day!

The ceiling in this store was covered with gig posters.  Beats wallpaper!

Kelly's Olympian Bar Neon Sign in Portland

A nice example of some classic neon signage, advertising Kelly's Olympian Bar.  I liked the bikes they had there too.

May Sign of the Month- Scottish Prices Sign

This sign is an old hand-lettered item found in a Voodoo Doughnuts location in Portland.  It plays on the thrifty Scotsman theme.

Hand-Lettered 3 Wheeled Voodoo Doughnut Delivery Truck

This cool little vehicle was lettered by hand. Not mine, someone else's.  The doughnuts were very tasty and super filling.

Portland Outdoor Store, Portland Oregon

This building has some amazing old advertising and signage. I think the outdoor signs were hand-lettered many years ago, but its great to see they are still up.  The Portland Outdoor Store is still open to business and the store has a lot of vintage advertising inside as well.  Even if you're not into outdoor gear the signage alone is worth visiting the store.

Vintage Signs in Portland

Here are some I saw in the city.

April Sign of the Month- Iconic Downton Portland Sign (Portland Oregon Old town), Formerly The White Stag Sign

This the sign that welcomes visitors to the downtown portion of Portland.  My wife and I took some pictures of the sign, which was originally the White Stag Sports Wear Company's sign, but was changed several times until it now reads Portland Oregon Old Town.  You have to like a city that declares a sign an historical landmark.
