The Legendary George Barris

I got to meet and shake the hand of the King of Kustomizers himself, George Barris.  He's probably best known for the Batmobile and the Munster Koach, but in his decades-long career he has come up with everything from mild customs to far-out creations like the X-Pac flying car.  And to think he was in Abbotsford...

  1. I met George in a Salt Lake City auto show, nice guy. I used to buy the small custom car magazines no one will remember to follow him and Ed Roth. Very creative people, fun times!

  3. You're right, he is a very nice guy. When I met him he was alone at his booth so my friend and I had a good long talk with him. Very personable, which is amazing considering all the cars and work he did for TV and movies.
